IOP services include clinical intensive substance abuse counseling and psycho-education (didactic) sessions. Services are provided in a structured environment for a minimum of nine hours of counseling per week for adults. This care approximates ASAM PPC-2R Level II. Treatment sessions in an IOP are usually 3 to 5 times a week for 3 hours per day. Once again, we offer a flexible schedule. The main idea is to make it convenient for you to stay in treatment.

Unlike inpatient or residential treatment programs, if you are in our outpatient program, you will reside at home instead of at the rehab facility. The idea of OP is to give people the opportunity of flexibility and independent living at home. As we lead busy lives, outpatient programs allow people to prioritize important things, such as school and work, while still attending their recommended treatment and therapy sessions. Lifetime Recovery provides regularly scheduled individual, group, and/or family counseling for less than 9 hours per week.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a treatment approach used for people specifically suffering from alcohol use disorders (AUD) and opioid use disorders (OUD). These medications are prescribed at suitable doses, depending on the person and the conditions. Medically-Assisted Treatment is most effective when used in conjunction with behavioral therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), this approach has many benefits including:
